This Boscastle placemat features Neils rendition of this picturesque harbour on the north Cornish coast.
Nestled in a steep sided valley this natural harbour on the North Cornwall coastline was created by the confluence of Valency, Jordan and Paradise rivers. The rivers Valency and Jordan famously burst their banks on 16th August 2004 resulting in dramatic floods click here for more information. Boscastle is an excellent base for touring the surrounding area which includes moorlands, sheltered wooden valleys and coastal footpaths offering stunning views.
