Neilsdesigns uses their unique graphic style to portray one of the superb vistas of Smeatons Pier in St. Ives, on this magnificent mug. Smeatons pier has been a visitor favourite since its construction in the late 1700s and owes its unique shape and design, including the two lighthouses, to the many additions, and failed attempts, that have been attempted over the years. It is named after the engineer in charge of the original build, John Smeaton. 

Smeaton Pier has also been an attraction for local artists for many years due to its one-of-a-kind construction and its proximity to the sunny seaside town of St. Ives.
